At Empire Cosmetic Clinic, we prioritise keeping our community well-informed regarding regulations concerning cosmetic procedures necessitating prescription services, such as cosmetic injectables.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has clearly outlined that promoting such services is not permissible. This includes the use of before and after images, price lists, endorsements or claims about prescription products.

It's essential to note that this regulation isn't a change but has always been part of the therapeutic goods framework, prohibiting the advertising of prescription medicines, including most cosmetic injectables products. While the TGA previously allowed indirect references to prescribed medicines it has now been announced that this is no longer the case and the terms wrinkle relaxing injections and/or dermal fillers and the like, are no longer permitted.

We are steadfast in our commitment to compliance and the delivery of safe and ethical services. As a result we will undergo streamlining of our advertising channels to comply with these regulations, please be assured that while things may look different, our services remain unchanged. We will actively engage with and educate our peers to ensure everyone remains current with regulatory standards. Expect updates and industry insights as we continue to prioritise adherence to guidelines.
